The billowy, folk art flowers of Assuri take their inspiration from the vivid Khokhloma paintings found in Russia. While the flowers in Khokhloma are painted in bright, vivid colors with gold leaf embellishment, the flowers on this wrap are a bit more subdued is rich, dark shades of green.
This is a jacquard weave woven in green and white threads. This a rich and dark green color. I adore it!

For the most part, Natibaby linen is known for being fairly dense and thick. Out of the package, it can be bulky and awkward with which to wrap. But after breaking in, Nati linen wraps tend to be marshmallowy soft. However, the most recent linen releases have been less dense and much easier with which to wrap. (I'm thinking of the Tela and Spiderweb pre-order). They still have that awesome Nati linen marshmallowey softness after being broken in, but they are a bit more manageable. This linen is definitely on the thinner side for Natibaby and I am hoping that it will be just as lovely to wrap with as the previous thinner linen releases this past fall.
