Archive: Natibaby Monsters Komely (Bamboo Blend)

Regular price $165.00

So, does anyone remember watching Ahhhh! Real Monsters as a kid on Nickelodeon? Or is it just me? Or did I just date myself horribly? Anyway, this wrap totally reminds me of that show. The monsters, the playfulness--it's like a little chunk of my childhood, but in wrap form.

This is a jacquard weave woven in blue and grey threads. It looks very much like the same thread used in Ethno Kyanite

70% cotton

30% viscose bamboo

Release Date:  23 August  2013

No weight was released on this wrap, but if it is anything like the most recent bamboo releases, it will be on the thinner side. It will still have that marshmallowy soft bamboo feel after being broken in, but it will not be as dense or thick as past Natibaby wraps.

So, when we have talked about Nati wraps being "thin," it was understood that although the wraps might be "thin" by Nati standards, they are most likely thick by any other wrap brand standard. However, Nati's recent releases have been definitely thin. It is a completely new departure for Nati and I love the thinner, moldable wraps they have been releasing. It seems that Leopard Turquoise will fall into this category as well.

As is typical with Nati's viscose bamboo waps, after a wash and  a few wearings, the bamboo fluffs up and becomes incredibly soft. Many mom and dads gravitate toward Natibaby's bamboo blends for wearing their newborns because the bamboo is so incredibly soft

Although hemp is best washed and dried with heat to help break it in, bamboo is prone to shrinkage, so Natibaby recommends that bamboo blend wraps be hand washed in cold water. It is suggested that you hang the wrap to dry and then fluff it in the dryer for 5-10 minutes on a setting with no heat.

**We are currently sold out of this wrap. This wrap was a limited run and is also sold out at Natibaby with no rerun in the future. If you are interested in buying this wrap, we highly recommend checking the FSOT board on TBW or the many different baby wearing swap boards on Facebook**
