.Diva Milano first introduced Veneziano Azurro in its Lace Collection (autumn/winter of 2011-2012). The Veneziano pattern is an all over lace pattern, reminiscent of venetian lace. This Veneziano is 100% cotton and is part of the Flora (2014) collection.
This is a jacquard weave with a petrol warp and a natural weft. Yep--you read that right. A petrol warp! That is something new for this collection and I am looking forward to geeking out over it.
Divas feel pretty soft straight out of the box. They tend to catch people off guard because they are so thin. Despite being so thin, these are supportive wraps. Even the 100% cotton wraps are toddler worthy! They are exceptionally wide; the added with help creates greater support for your wrappee. The weave on these wraps is fairly tight, which helps create a solid tensile strength for supporting bigger babies and toddlers.
The linen silk blends from Diva are really extraordinary. There's nothing quite like them. They have an incredibly silky and soft feel, but are also quite strong and offer great support. They also just happen to make an awesome Stevie-Nicksesque fluttery scarf in case you want to twirl around when no one is looking.
